Help Live is a group of regular people and artists who have come together asking how we can help the underprivileged children in our communities. We are ready to take necessary steps to attain that goal. Help Live is committed to finding the ways and the means that will mobilize and empower the next generation for building their future. Our first and foremost goal is to make sure that education is available to all. Artists from all over the world will have the opportunity to be a part of our vision. We are also looking for contributions that will provide for needs – in the areas of basic supplies, sanitation and health- as they arise in the face of issues that devastate a people and render them powerless to help themselves; issues such as poverty war, disease and disaster.

Right now, Safe Haven orphanage is providing a temporary shelter for 98 children by the border of Thailand and Burma. Save Haven has sacrificed much to care for these children but the conditions are less desirable.

Join Help Live by using your raw talents to raise awareness and funding for these children! HelpLive’s short term goal is to provide: food, books, notebooks, whiteboards, clothes, school supplies and any other immediate need for schooling and daily life. Long term plans include the possibilities of purchasing land for homes, classrooms/dorms and providing sanitation/sewer systems.

Here’s how to get involved:

1. Artists from around the world, come and perform at the  HelpLive event every summer. Dance, sing, read poetry, magic shows, paint/sculpt/create on site or donate art, jewelry pieces, band t-shirts, cds, baked goods or other items for auction!
2. COME TO THE EVENT! Grab your friends, bring your family and enjoy the performances, art and auction! Your presence is valued and needed!
3. CREATE YOUR OWN EVENT! Round up your friends and showcase your talents in your own communities. You do not need to be in Bangkok to make a difference! HelpLive wants to see talents used around the globe to inspire our communities to get involved! Have your own concert, art show or other talent filled event to raise awareness! Go wild!
4. Plan a trip! Come to Thailand for the summer! Come in June and spend time with in the slums and/or at the orphanage, teach English, play sports and enjoy life with them. The giving of your time and building relationships promotes life and love for these children.  In August you can join the annual HelpLive event by showcasing your talents and/or donating your time!

The first HelpLive event is coming up on the 11th of September, 2009 at Chives Park, Bangkok!
